I just wanted to write and thank you once again for all you did for us. Like I told you before, what made you different is that you were, first and foremost, always positive. But secondly, while you never lost sight of the fact that you worked for us, you were more like a friend. We always felt that you were on our side of the process and that our house was the only one that mattered to you. Jan, I don't think you realize how rare you are in your field - you are the model of how it should be done.
When our house was on the market, I refused to even look at the real estate section of the newspaper, just because I didn't want to see all the many many houses with which we had to compete. And now, even though our house has sold, I still wake up in the morning thinking I need to clean the house in case someone wants to see it. And then I realize, no, you're in a rental - the house has closed!
This past weekend was the first time Richard and I both finally began to relax. Furthermore, it's beginning to sink in just how very fortunate we were to have sold when we did, given this market and the upcoming closure of the space shuttle program. To me, it's almost miraculous that we sold, considering all the houses that are out there! So yesterday, for the first time in almost 1 1/2 years, I looked at the real estate section of the paper. And the very first article I read is an article where you are being interviewed. Congratulations on being the "expert" of the front page - so very well-deserved!
The only bad thing about selling out house is that we don't get to see you.
You're the best at what you do, Jan, and we will tell everyone we know about you!

Please know how appreciative I am to you for selling our condo. I realize a lot of work went into it on your part, especially considering what little commission you received compared to larger sales with no more effort.
Hopefully sometime soon I'll get to Titusville and we can have lunch. If you're available any day this week or next, please let me know.
